PromptRizz privacy policy

PromptRizz never saves your prompts or chats. We have no accounts, and we do not sell your data or use it for advertising. We count how much PromptRizz is used with a random ID, as explained below.

What it reads. On chatgpt.com, chat.openai.com and claude.ai only, PromptRizz reads the text in the chat box and the latest AI reply, so it can score your prompt and suggest next questions. This happens inside your browser.

How long it is kept. PromptRizz keeps your draft in memory only for Undo, and clears it as soon as you send your next message. Nothing is written to disk.

AI rewrites. Each time you click Improve, your prompt, a list of what's missing, and up to 1,500 characters of the latest reply go through PromptRizz's server to Anthropic's Claude API, and the rewrite comes back to you. PromptRizz asks you to agree before the first one. Our server doesn't save or log that text. Our hosting provider records basic request details such as time and IP address. To limit abuse, the server holds your IP address in memory for about a minute and keeps a scrambled version with a rewrite count for about a day. Under its commercial terms, Anthropic may not train models on this content. It normally deletes it within 30 days, and may keep it longer for usage policy violations or legal reasons. Nothing is sent unless you click Improve. If you'd rather not use this service, use "Ask this chat to improve it", which stays in the chat you're already in.

If the service is unavailable, Improve uses Chrome's on-device AI where available, or adds a local checklist.

Usage count. When you agree, PromptRizz creates a random ID for this install and sends it with each rewrite. Our server keeps how many rewrites that ID made each day for about 13 months, so we can see how PromptRizz is used, set fair limits and offer paid plans. The ID contains no name, email or device details, and is not stored with your IP address. Removing the extension deletes the ID from your browser.

What it stores. On your device: on/off for each site, your preferred rewrite length, that you agreed, and the random ID.

Your messages. PromptRizz only changes the chat box when you click one of its buttons, and it never sends a message for you. Anything you send still goes to ChatGPT or Claude, and they store it under their own policies. PromptRizz can't control or delete that.
